Seriously, it feels like just yesterday I was firing on all cylinders to get this page up and running! Looking for Zine and website writers, and so full of piss and vinegar that was I designing and writing! I put out a zine and then everything just stopped……
Well, I regained gainful employment, and it is a rather creative position. Because of that, my energies have been focused towards the job at hand for the time being. I know, I know, it’s never good to dive in so heavily, but, let’s talk about what I do.
I now run Social Media for a toy store, my previous employer, to be exact. What I do on a day to day basis is field questions, post toys, and use my creative energy to create video content. THAT’S RIGHT! I’ve been doing short form youtube videos, currently running an interview series, and have a wrestling themed audio podcast all in the works at the same position.
I know, you think that means bad things for Scrubhaus because I’m always so busy with work, but, that’s not actually the case at all. During this time period, I will also be splitting resources into creating content for Scrubhaus. Look, let’s be honest, not everything I do is family friendly, and I want Scrubhaus to be a raw look at my humor and interests. Expect more videos, I REALLY like making videos.
Wanna help? Write for the site (lol). Part of the reason the site died is because I am the only writer, which was NOT the original plan. I had a few lined up, but nothing was ever posted! Got any ideas? Wanna write some scrubhaus stuff about weird movies or video games or even cable access television shows? Wanna collab to publish some weird assed content? Got some VHS tapes or CRT Televisions you need to offload in the greater Sheboygan Wisconisn area? If the answer to any of these are yes, then CONTACT ME!
Also the shop is being overhauled. Hoping to have some screenprinted limited edition drops in the future so keep your eyes peeled.
